The following is a list of our policies. Please read them thoroughly before booking your session.

General Policies

  • AfallaStudios retains all copyright ownership of all images created as a result of this portrait session. Images may not be reproduced for any reason without the express written permission of Walter Afalla. Any unauthorized duplication or publication will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
  • Prices do not include sales tax, however, all prices for sessions and prints will incur an 8.25% sales tax.
  • Prices are subject to change at anytime without notice.
  • Combining multiple sessions or adding a second person in the session is not allowed.
  • Ordered images are kept on file for a period of 1 year. Unordered images will be kept on file for a period of 4 weeks. 
  • Your retainer of $100 or $50 (depending on the session you purchased) is due at the time of booking, and guarantees your appointment time. This retainer fee is non-refundable. This fee is deducted from the session you selected.
  • Your session fee is nonrefundable, but is certainly transferable in situations where you must reschedule your session due to inclement weather. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible if you must reschedule, at least 24 hours notice is preferred. 
  • Final payment/remaining balance must be paid in full before the start of the photo shoot. Sorry, no exceptions!
  • All Add-On fees for makeup and hair services does not include gratuity. Feel free to add a gratuity when you work with our makeup and hair artists. 
  • All returned checks incur a $50 fee. 
  • Payments can be made via cash, credit card, or checks (payable to AfallaStudios LLC). We do not accept cashier checks of any kind.
  • Bringing your own camera or photographing using your personal mobile device is strictly prohibited. We have the right to stop production immediately.
  • We provide our own Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter post of our photo shoots so you can share them with family and friends of your photo shoot experience. Make sure you follow us on these social media websites so you can share them with everyone you know! Posting any social media updates of your photo shoot during your session is not allowed.
  • Any photos used on social media that are cropped or edited other than by AfallaStudios will be informed via email and will you to take them down immediately. Failure to remove any altered images will result in a law suit including a phone call from our attorney.
  • If your session is at the Dallas Arboretum, your entry fees are waived for up to four people (which includes photographer and assistant) in our photo shoot party. If you bring any additional people along, you are responsible to pay their fee(s).
  • Parking at the Dallas Arboretum is $15 per car which you are responsible for. You can purchase a discounted rate online at $8 per vehicle by clicking HERE.

Proofing and Ordering Policies

  • Photo proof links will be ready for you to view online approximately 1-3 weeks after your session (sometimes within a week).
  • Additional print orders are not processed until full payment has been received, and print orders will be available for pick up or delivery 2-3 weeks after they are processed (specialty items such as canvases, purses, and coffee table books will require additional time).
  • Discounted print prices are good for 30 days. After 30 days, you are required to pay the retail price.
  • Sessions are normally booked 3-4 weeks in advance. If you have any questions or would like to book a session please contact us today!
  • Non-ordered images will be held for an additional 30 days after your session date.  All ordered images will be archived for your safe keeping at no additional fee.  After 30 days, non-ordered images will be discarded.
  • The customer will be charged shipping and handling if any items are shipped.  Otherwise, an appointment will be made for orders to be picked up at the studio.
  • Please allow 2-4 weeks for your order to be processed.  
  • All images remain the property of AfallaStudios and are protected by federal copyright laws.  Copying of any kind without permission is strictly prohibited.
