The hula tradition still lives in my family

I'm so proud of my Hawaiian heritage. Since I was a young boy, my sisters all danced hula - some of them took classes when they were younger to teach them discipline while others pursued it as a career or serious hobby. Every year the Merrie Monarch Hula Festival is held in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii. Back in the early to mid 1980's, my sister, Leila, performed in this prestigious festival.

The difference in print quality between your local drugstore vs a high quality photo print company

The average senior is looking for senior portrait photographers around this time of year and many of them are either looking for ways to save money or just don't know how to go about in hiring a photographer. The one question that I always get asked is "Do you provide all the images on CD?" Here at our studio we do not provide that but we do offer the digital images for purchase. The reason why people ask for the images on CD is mainly to print the images themselves on their ink jet photo printer or take the images down the street to their local drugstore that provide decent quality prints at a low price.

Family portrait session with Molly and her Mommy at the Dallas Aboretum.

I had a chance to meet up with an old friend of mine, Cori, along with her 6 year old daughter, Molly. The weather was just perfect at the Dallas Arboretum- not too cold, not too hot, but just right. The gardens are absolutely beautiful with a good handful of tulip bulbs that just started to blossom. It wasn't a busy day for a Saturday at the arboretum with a few families taking in the sun rays on a well manicured, green lawn.
