Our new photography studio is almost done!

​After dealing with the plumber, carpenter, and now the electrician, I'm happy to say that we're almost done with our renovation. All we have left is installing the little half galley kitchen. Everything else looks great! ​I'll be posting the final photos of the studio after we get the kitchen in and the back drop installed for my clients.

A new senior couture ambassador is on the horizon

​Congratulations to Rylie W. of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Rylie is currently a high school junior and will be graduating next school year. Her goal this year is to have amazing senior portraits. Miss Walker is extremely bright and is an amazing dancer. AfallaStudios is looking forward to do her mini-photo session next month.

The start of our new photography studio - AfallaStudios

In the next few months, AfallaStudios will be turning the upstairs studio apartment into a renovated photography studio. This weekend, we tore out the old carpet, got rid of the electric stove and refrigerator (thanks to the junk collectors stopping by to see what we were throwing away), and old junk that I just needed to get rid of. And the part that I really enjoyed doing today was pulling carpet staples from the base floor so that we can prepare for the new hardwood floors.
